Doing the North Coast 500 and short of time?
Join us for our Express Tour where you will learn about our fabulously shiny stills, Elizabeth and Margaret, how our spirits are made, and how our iconic bottles are hand-filled, individually wax-sealed, batch numbered and hand-signed before they leave the distillery. You will also get to view the research and development area used by Dunnet Bay Distillery to create new products and at the end of your Express Tour you will sample our multi-award-winning Original Edition Rock Rose Gin and Holy Grass Vodka.

As we were staying next door at the Northern Sands we could not miss the opportunity to visit Dunnet Bay Distillery. Andy our tour guide was amazing and explained the history and full process to making Rock Rose Gin and Holy Grass Vodka. Highly recommend a distillery tour and or course a must stop is the distillery shop.

I visited this distillery while travelling the North Coast 500. Lovely staff and informative tour. I was impressed by how many local botanicals used in the production to help keep their carbon footprint low. The tour showed photographs of the development of the site and build of the distillery. The distillery shop was amazing and the lady in the shop was lovely. I would highly recommend visiting.

What a very very informative and friendly tour. Our guide knew everything about not only the process but also about the history of the company plus the future plans. All questions were answered and interaction between the staff and our tour group was very light hearted and we felt most welcome.
All in all a cracking experience. The shop was full of merchandise.

Took part in the express tour at Dunnet Bay Distillery on our NC500 roadtrip and we were amazed by how homegrown and in house their products are! We loved hearing how such a small team of people can produce masses of beautiful product and still deliver that hand crafted touch. Our tour guide was full of knowledge and was a great story teller of start of the Rock rose. Would definitely recommend a visit to their distillery in Dunnet bay and their Rock Rose Gin!

My husband and I did the express tour on April 25, 2024 and what an amazing experience it was. Loved seeing how the Rock Rose Gin and Holy Grass Vodka was made in small batches and bottled by hand and the pretty bottles are a wonderful keepsake. So wish we could buy it back here in the states. Cherishing the bottle we brought home with us!

Amazing and informative tour despite the packed schedule. Tasted exquisite gin and vodka with ginger ale. If you have extra time, you can look around the garden and geo dorm next to the parking lot.
