Terms and Conditions of Sale
Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law and set out the terms under which Dunnet Bay Distillery Ltd (“we”) makes its products available to you. We are registered in Scotland under company number SC454474 with our registered office at Ribbon House, Dunnet, Thurso, Caithness, KW14 8YD.
All orders for goods placed by you via the online order form shall be deemed to be an offer by you, the buyer, to purchase goods pursuant to these terms and conditions. You, the buyer, shall be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the details provided in your order and we will not be obliged to accept an order unless all details requested have been provided correctly.
You must be aged at least 18 years to purchase from Dunnet Bay Distillers Ltd. In the UK it is illegal for any person under the age of 18 to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol for themselves or for any other person under the age of 18.
All prices are shown in GBP (British Pound). The total price we charge you for the goods in your order includes all applicable taxes payable in the UK. Prices shown on the site for any products or services offered are subject to change without notice. Any price changes will be notified and confirmed to you before despatch to give you the opportunity to cancel your order.
Prices shown for products on the site are not inclusive of delivery charge. You will be advised of the cost of delivery on the website at the time your order is accepted.
Dunnet Bay Distillers Ltd reserves the right to alter the prices of the goods on offer online at any time without prior notice.
All products offered are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee availability of the products listed.
If we are unable to fulfil your order we will contact you within 3 working days of receiving your order.
As all products and services are subject to availability, there will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless and until we actually process and despatch the goods to you. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods to you without giving any reason.
We use Paypal or Stripe to accept payments allowing you to use your bank account, credit/debit card or your Paypal balance.
Your payment details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of order. You will be automatically charged for your order once your payment details have been accepted. Our liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total price charged for the relevant items.
We can deliver to your home or work address, as you have entered it on the order. We cannot accept any liability if quoted address is incorrect or incomplete. Deliveries to work addresses shall be deemed successful if a representative at that address accepts and signs for the goods.
We will always do our best to fulfil your order as quickly as possible. If your order is time specific please do contact us prior to ordering. We might experience delays due to high order numbers particularly around Christmas, if we are aware of any delays we will endeavour to let you know. If goods fail to arrive after 28 days from date of order, please notify us on firstname.lastname@example.org We do our best to secure delivery within 28 days of the date of your order, but shall not be liable for loss occasioned by delay in delivery arising out of any cause beyond our control.
UK orders will normally be delivered within 3 days of despatch.
In the event that the order is returned to us by the courier or otherwise due to non-delivery, Dunnet Bay Distillers Ltd gives the purchaser the option of resending the purchase at the purchaser’s expense or refunding the purchase less the cost of postage and packing. We cannot deliver to PO boxes.
CLICK & COLLECT via HubBox
We are delighted to offer our customers across the UK a convenient Click & Collect service in conjunction with our partner HubBox. This service allows you to pick up your goods when you want and at a Collect Point location that’s convenient for you. No more missed deliveries!
When you go to the checkout page, you will see two delivery options: Standard Delivery and Click & Collect. If you wish to use Click & Collect, just select this option and you will be shown a selection of Collect Points local to you
What happens next?
Once you have completed checkout, you will receive the order confirmation from us as normal. HubBox will also then send you a confirmation along with details of what happens next, and you’ll receive another message when your item arrives in the store and is available to collect.
HubBox also has a customer app for iOS (Android coming soon) where customers can receive push notifications, have their Collect Point details to hand, and more.

What is HubBox?
HubBox is an award-winning network of trusted local Collect Points based in pharmacies, dry cleaners and convenience stores. HubBox allows you to pick up your deliveries close to home and at your convenience.
How do I select to have my order delivered to a HubBox Collect Point?
When placing your order you will be able to choose HubBox as a delivery option in the cart by choosing HubBox Click & Collect, typing in your postcode and selecting your local Collect Point as the delivery address.
Where is my nearest HubBox Collect Point?
During checkout, when you choose HubBox Click & Collect as your delivery method, you will also be able to select your nearest Collect Point after typing in your postcode.
When are HubBox Collect Points open?
Nearly all HubBox stores are open early ‘til late, 6 or 7 days a week. The opening times for your local store will be shown as you choose your preferred Collect Point when placing your order. PLEASE NOTE: Opening hours at Collect Points can sometimes vary due to holiday hours, etc. Please call ahead if you have any question.
How long will it take for my order to arrive at my chosen HubBox Collect Point?
You will still be able to choose your shipping options as usual – so delivery time will be based upon what shipping option you choose. Once you have successfully placed and paid for your order, your item(s) will be processed and shipped to your chosen Collect Point. You will receive confirmation from HubBox via email when your parcel is available for collection. This will include your unique Collection Code. Unfortunately a specific time for arrival cannot be given.
What do I need to take when I collect my parcel?
Please take your HubBox Collection Code or proof of ID with you when you go to the HubBox Collect Point to collect your parcel.
When making a collection, what ID is accepted?
HubBox Collect Points accept the following forms of ID:

What should I do if I lose my Collection Code from HubBox?
If you have lost the Collection Code sent to you by HubBox via email, you can still collect your parcel with one of the forms of ID listed above. If you require a new Collection Code, please don’t hesitate to contact HubBox at email@example.com and they will send you a new one.
What should I do if I don’t receive my Collection Code from HubBox?
If you haven’t received an email from HubBox with your Collection Code within 24 hours of your parcel’s expected arrival date, then please contact HubBox on 0207 859 4577 and their Customer Service team will be able to help you.
Can someone else collect my order on my behalf?
Yes, it is possible for someone to collect your parcel on your behalf, but they must have your Collection Code.
What if my order includes back-order items?
Your order will be split in two. Your in-stock items will be processed as usual for collection at your nominated HubBox Collect Point. Your back-order items will be processed and sent once they arrive in our warehouse. In this instance you will receive two notifications of delivery from HubBox and two HubBox Collection Codes – don’t worry, you can use either Collection Code to collect your second parcel.
How long will I have to collect my parcel?
You have 14 days to collect your parcel. After 14 days, HubBox reserves the right to arrange for alternative storage arrangements or return the parcel to sender.
What should I do if my parcel isn’t available when I arrive at the HubBox Collect Point?
Please contact HubBox on 0207 859 4577 and they will look into it.
Returns & Refunds
We hope you will be happy with your purchase. When you get your package please check carefully and notify us, within 2 days, if you have the wrong item, or if it has been damaged. If goods are damaged you should contact us straight away on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Purchasers may cancel the order by informing Dunnet Bay Distillers Ltd within 7 days of receiving their order. Please return it to us unopened, sealed and in original condition and within 7 days of the date cancelled, for a refund. All shipping back to us is paid by the customer, and we are unable to refund you for your postal fees.
We are not able to refund any import duties, taxes or administration fees incurred in connection with the delivery or return of the Product.
Liability for loss or damage during transit is also the responsibility of the purchaser.
Dunnet Bay Distillers Ltd will refund the purchase within 30 days of you notifying us about the return, to the credit/debit card or Paypal account used to make the purchase.
We have the copyright and the intellectual property rights on everything on this website. You can use this website for your own purposes, but you must not republish anything from this site without our consent.
